Prof. Hui Jin obtained his Ph.D. at the Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2011, studying under the Chinese Academy of Sciences academician Liejin Guo. He is a professor in State Key Laboratory in Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research fields focus on a poly-generation technology for hydrogen production, power generation and heat supply based on coal/biomass gasification in supercritical water and relative multiphase thermal physical and chemical theory. He is the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in National Natural Science Foundation of China, the winner of "Chung-Hua Wu Outstanding Young Scholar Award", the winner of Particuology Young Scholar Award issue by Chinese Society of Particuology, and the leader of Youth Innovative Research Team of Shaanxi Province. He has published more than 100 first/corresponding author SCI papers with more than 10000 citations with H-index 55, 19 papers were indexed as ESI paper, and 4 papers were indexed as hot papers. Dr. Jin also has public or authorized 62 patents and 32 software copyrights. He was awarded first prize by science and technology award in Shaanxi province (ranking 3rd), and the top 10 scientific and technological progress of Chinese universities (ranking 3rd). He was selected in the Stanford University Top 2% Scientists List from 2019 to 2023.
