Simone Mancin is an Associate Professor of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer and the Director of the Thermal Energy Innovation research group (www.teiresearch.com) at the University of Padova, Italy. He is also Visiting Prof. at the Dept. of Chemical Engineering of Brunel University London and member of the Centre for Energy Efficient and Sustainable Technologies of Brunel University London. His research mainly focuses on single- and two- phase heat transfer in enhanced surfaces and micro-geometries for electronic thermal management and air conditioning and refrigeration, phase change materials (PCMs) and Thermochemical material (TCM) for advanced latent thermal energy storages and additive manufacturing for Thermal Science. He is the author or co-author of about 250 papers, most published in the international scientific journals. He is associate editor of HEDH, Thermal Science and Engineering Progress, Journal of Energy Storage, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, Heat Transfer Research and he is member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Thermofluids and Energies.
